Notre Dame de Lourdes Parish

Dear Fellow Parishioners & Friends,
 
With the carrying out of the Paschal Candle after the last Mass on the Solemnity of Pentecost, the Easter Season ended and Ordinary Time began. This season will take up all the summer months as well as most of the Fall and will end with the first Sunday of Advent on November 28. The liturgical color of green is a sign of growth and hope and may this season enable us to grow in and through God's love.
 
This time of the year is one of weddings and graduations and we congratulate all those who are beginning new phases of their lives.
 
The Parish Carnival will be held from June 22 to June 26 and is a good time to meet current and former parishioners. The Spaghetti night on Tuesday and Crab Cake night on Friday provide a reasonable and delicious meal along with pleasant company.
 
We will dedicate a room in the Benonis Center to Mrs. Dolores Flynn soon and will inform you of that date.
 
May all use the summer months to be re-created in God's love and to enjoy the beauty of nature.
