Highlights for this year:

This year the focus will be on learning and working together in a cooperative manner. Children will learn group work takes organization. Children will be assigned roles of leader, secretary, recorder, and various other duties within their group.

What would you like your students to take away from this year?

I would like my students to have enjoyed the whole year! I would like for them to want to come back to 1st grade. Hopefully they will take with them not only the necessary skills for the next grade, but will also remember the many fun activities and projects that we did together in 1st grade.

Why did you become a teacher?

I enjoy teaching people new things. I love to be in school.

What is your favorite lesson to teach?

I love to teach social studies.  I think it is really cool to learn about new places & new people.

What is one thing your students don't know about you?

They don't know how old I am -- yet!
