We are excited to announce the Knights of Columbus Peace Council #4518 has recognized the following students for their participation in the "Keeping Christ in Christmas" art contest. Grade 7 winner is John P. and grade 6 winner is Kennedy T! Also receiving honorable mentions were Siena M., Anthony C., Natalie R., Allison K., and Andrea D. John's "Santa Kneels, Christ Reigns," and Kennedy's "Christ is the reason for this holiday season" will move on to the District Knights of Columbus competition, to be held on January 15th amongst local councils in our area. Once again the 6th-grade service project, Stockings For Soldiers, was a huge success! With over 40 boxes of donations, Mrs. Sillo enlisted the help of the 8th grade to load the truck! There were 350 servings of Ramen Noodles, plus a card from every student, and lots of handmade stockings. We appreciate all who contributed to this worthwhile cause.

Congratulations to Harlee J, on having her drawing of the angel Gabriel selected as a winnwer in the 2023-2024 Missionary Childhood Association Christmas Artwork Contest. Her art will be displayed during the World Mission Sunday Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of SS Peter and Paul, in the Mission Societies Annual Christmas Card, and in the Pastoral Center lobby during Advent.

For the 8th time in the last 9 years, Notre Dame de Lourdes has finished #1 in the nation on First In Math! Thanks to Mrs. Newell for leading the effort and for students who work hard to sharpen their math skills daily.

We are super excited to announce that 5th-grade student, Autumn B., has been selected by the Philadelphia Phillies as a Most Outstanding reader in the Phillies Phanatic About Reading program! Mrs. Shay was also recognized as the sponsoring teacher and will be honored along with Autumn at the Phillies game on 5/19. Autumn was one of the five outstanding readers chosen from 146,000 total applicants. Congratulations!
Congratulations to the Award winning NDDL faculty for their participation in and presentation of the variety of student projects during the Archdiocese of Philadelphia STREAM Expo 2024 hosted by @Cardinal O'Hara High School. Our students, at all grade levels, did an amazing job combining their knowledge of science, technology, engineering, art, religion, and math to complete all the work displayed at the expo.
