Congratulations to the athletes and coaches of the 2025 track and field team! It was a season of personal bests with several students earning the opportunity to compete in Archdiocesan meets. Big congratulations to - our Gold Medalist and Archdiocesan Champion in the Minor Girls Shot Put, Kamille.
- The 4x800 relay team (Cooper, Mason, Liam, and Nick) took the Bronze Medal
- Alex took 4th in the High Jump
- Nick took 6th in the 800 and Bronze Medal in the Triple Jump
- The 4x400 relay team (Cooper, Mason, Liam, and Nick) placed 5th.

On the evening of April 9th, The Foundation for Catholic Education, celebrated educators, administrators, and supporters of Catholic elementary schools throughout Delaware County. Included among the six honorees was our principal, Diana Pileggi. Fr. Joseph McCaffrey presented the award in front of the large gathering at the Springfield Country Club. We couldn't be prouder of Mrs. Pileggi and her 21 years of service to our school community! Congratulations!
The 2024-2025 K'Nex challenge, to design a motorized appliance to complete a house chore, ended with a student Expo in Nelson Hall. Nine teams presented their designs for parent and faculty judges. And the winners are... 1st place - The Primary Colors for their Super-Duper Dish Dryer 3000; 2nd place - Volleyball Squad with Handy Dry; and 3rd place - Loopy Larry’s Spinny Duster. Congratulations to all participants and special thanks to the 8th grade mentors, Emma & Elizabeth, Miss Barker for leading the K'Nex Club, and Ms. Sgro, Miss Hodges, and Mrs. Dwyer for supervising the teams.
On Wednesday, March 12, members of Notre Dame de Lourdes School and Our Lady of Peace parish were confirmed by the Most Reverend Edward Deliman. Through the gifts of the Holy Spirit, these students completed their initiation into the Catholic faith. Congratulations to all on this blessed evening!
Congratulations to all of students selected to participate in the 2025 Archdiocesan Honors Chorus. They gave a beautiful performance on Sunday, March 9th. Super proud of Emily, Elizabeth, Allie, and Makayla for representing NDDL. They worked hard to prepare and did amazing on stage with the 7th and 8th grade choir.

Congratulations to the 6th grade class for successfully outlasting the competition and taking day 5 by storm to win the war! With their 3rd consecutive win, they earned a pizza lunch (date to be announced). The big winner though was the technology fund that covers the maintenance/repair of student devices and purchase of new equipment.
Also, students in grades 2-8 participated in daily money challenges for the chance in the drawing for a candy basket. Abby K. took home the prize. Congratulations!

We are excited to announce the Knights of Columbus Peace Council #4518 has recognized the following students for their participation in the "Keeping Christ in Christmas" art contest. Grade 7 winner is John P. and grade 6 winner is Kennedy T! Also receiving honorable mentions were Siena M., Anthony C., Natalie R., Allison K., and Andrea D. John's "Santa Kneels, Christ Reigns," and Kennedy's "Christ is the reason for this holiday season" will move on to the District Knights of Columbus competition, to be held on January 15th amongst local councils in our area. Once again the 6th-grade service project, Stockings For Soldiers, was a huge success! With over 40 boxes of donations, Mrs. Sillo enlisted the help of the 8th grade to load the truck! There were 350 servings of Ramen Noodles, plus a card from every student, and lots of handmade stockings. We appreciate all who contributed to this worthwhile cause.
