Down to Earth Christians: Spring Clean Up

April 25, 2017During the week of May 1st to May 5th (Date to be determined based on weather reports) we will plant flowers in the front of the church at the OLP site. This is in preparation for our children who will be receiving their First Communion on May 6 . During that time, we're hoping a few people can volunteer to help us pull weeds, plant flowers and spread mulch at OLP.
On Clean Up Day itself, Saturday, May 6:- We will begin at the Notre Dame site at 9:30 AM and finish at 4 PM. Feel free to work as many or as few hours as you are able.
- After lunch we will have a group of people return to the OLP site to finish the clean-up. By then First Communion will have taken place.
We welcome all of our parishioners, families and friends to join us for a day of rewarding work, fun and food as well as a great opportunity to meet our neighbors. Bring your gardening tools, hats, gloves and suntan lotion. So that we might have a general idea of how many will be participating in the clean-up - and how much food to order - , please contact :
