TuitionCare is an innovative and groundbreaking program developed by the Foundation For Catholic Education. Through TuitionCare local Catholic Schools and families with students in Catholic Schools throughout the Archdiocese can financially benefit by receiving up to $1,000 in tuition credits each year!
TuitionCare, run by the Foundation For Catholic Education, takes advantage of Educational Improvement Tax Credits offered by the State of Pennsylvania. These credits allow individuals to redirect some or all of their state income tax obligation to support Catholic Education!

In May 2001, Pennsylvania created the EITC (Education Improvement Tax Credit) for businesses, expanding it in 2012 to include Subchapter S corporations, partnerships, and LLCs. The EITC enables companies to support local non-profit charities, at a minimal cost, instead of sending their tax dollars to Harrisburg. It’s that simple. Your tax dollars stay here to help Notre Dame families finance a Catholic education for their children.
The EITC gives registered businesses in our community a 75% tax credit. If a business commits to the program for 2 years, they receive a 90% tax credit.
Businesses authorized to do business in Pennsylvania who are subject to one or more of the following taxes are eligible to participate in the EITC Program:
Additionally, most subchapter s-corporations are now able to participate in passing through the tax credit on their personal income tax.
