Elementary: St. Katharine of Siena / High School: Radnor High School / College: Immaculata University
Learning about music and developing a sense and understanding of what students like and dislike is fundamental to our Music program. It is important to allow students to express themselves through this creative process, not only in music but artistically, behaviorally, and emotionally.
In addition to our classroom teachings, students are encouraged to participate in various performance opportunities throughout the year. The Children’s Choir performs at monthly school masses as well as other events. The Glee Dance Group performs at special events. The Notre Dame Band comes together to perform occasionally. All students in grades 1 through 8 participate in the Spring Show and the Christmas Show.
Students from Grades 3 and up are encouraged to join the Notre Dame Choir. Practices take place every Thursday after school for an hour starting in September. The choir sings during First Friday and Holy Day Masses, along with a concert for the Notre Dame Seniors.
